We're #1! We're #1!

My wedding web site, AnnAndTrenton.com, is now the first result on google for the terms ann trenton wedding. With a bullet! (Well, not actually. It took 3-4 months to get there.) We're still lagging on MSN and Yahoo.

Software-picked mutual funds -- quants

Quantitative funds, or quants, are mutual funds which use some degree of quantitative analysis to determine their holdings. While some quants are fully managed by software, others leave the final decisions to human fund managers. Money magazine ran an article in their May 2006 issue which described them. Since they look only at hard data, they're immune to biases and favorites. However, they're slower to react to market trends, since they only know what has happened and cannot intuit what might happen next.

The Money article listed four funds which it considered strong performers with reasonable fees: JRMSX, SWANX, VSEQX, and BRSGX.
